We've been working with Alif cooking oil since 2017. They brought us onboard as their branding + marketing consultants after the Cooking Oil Subsidy Scheme ended. They now had to compete in the open market for the hearts of consumers. Not only are we their consultants but we are also their creative, digital agency, + PR agency all rolled into one. Talk about real integration! A real partnership.
As we began a journey of reintroducing the brand back into the lives of Malaysians, we breathed new life into the brand. We conducted market and brand studies, we strategized, planned and executed their brand campaigns
Through their social media + branded content, we defined the voice of the brand. Through our carefully planned online and offline brand campaigns, the people responded kindly.
From 2017 to 2020, Alif's market share was lifted from 11% to 18% making Alif the #3 cooking oil in Malaysia + it's very very close #2. That put a smile on the client's face + our too of course!
HONG LEONG ISLAMIC BANK
Amin Eh Mano by HLIB is created to build brand affiliation with the Malay majority target market through a brand story that speaks directly to the audience while also educating potential customers with their range of Shariah compliant and convenient products and services.
ALIF COOKING OIL
Goreng Atau Gagal is an edutainment branded content in the form of a 10-episode YouTube video series that features Chef Nik Michael Imran and a list of celebrity guests testing out if a fried version of all these uncommonly fried food will 'Goreng atau Gagal'? It's branded content that indirectly teaches the viewers the merit of Alif cooking oil, correct frying techniques, as well as ideas to try out in the kitchen. They loved it!

Revamped their social media that also extended to Radioshack’s communications with more curated branded content for better engagement
On top of that we created a wholesome new shopping experience for their The Gardens store that champions books with well-thought out elements and directives within the shop, as well as interactive storytelling/reading session.
We helped them to craft the headline "Fuhhh Lain Macam" + develop their POSM materials to get the Malay market to try their new Cactus Sparkling Mineral Water.
